Nexus mod manager no fallout 4 ini4/18/2024 When I untick "Local Game Settings" in Profiles, 2 things happen:ġ - the INI Editor info box has only 2 of the INI files there to be seen - " Fallout4prefs.ini and Fallout4Custom.ini" - and is missing the " Fallout4.ini".so that's clearly wrong.Ģ - the message about "Mods enabled, achievement's disabled" at the start screen is gone, which means MCM settings are being read from the start, as with it ticked the message is there. To enable Fallout 4 to load all loose file folders in Fallout 4/ Data, make the following edits to your Fallout4.ini: Under Archive add the following line: bInvalidateOlderFiles1. It does seem that BethINI settings are being activated when launching F4SE through MO2 though, as I've set the opening logo to run but not the SPECIAL intros in BethINI and that is what happens.but Hallo all I wanna show you my little Tool, it activate the Mods in Fallout 4 with just 3 klicks, Choose Fallout4Prefs.ini,Fallout.ini and click on enable. Install with your preferred mod manager, or copy the files in the download to your Fallout 4 Data folder for a manual install. User settings are located at DataMCMSettingsModName.ini. The only option in BethINI is to change the INI Default path, which I haven't tried.Ĭan someone please literally spell this out in point form? I'm not a complete idiot but can't find how to get it to read the changes. Each mods menu lives in its own directory in DataMCMConfigModName. But from reading the comments above, I still do not understand how to get FO4CT to be read by MO2.BethINI does shave the MO2 path set correctly. Im familiar with FO4Edit, Bodyslide and LOOT. 2) Place all the mod files in its own Data folder, in this example create a folder named 'Data' and place the file 'My Mod.esp' and all of its loose folders (Meshes, Sounds, Textures, etc) inside, EXCEPT custom folders or files like 'F4SE' or 'MCM' those are always better left as loose files. depending on the mod manager you use, you might also want to use Loot to sort your load order.OK so im having the same problem.and I cant figure out how to change it to read the FO4CT settings ? 1) Go to Steam and install the Fallout 4 Creation Kit. ![]() Nexus Mod Manager is one of the best ways to install mods on your favorite games, and were here to show you how to use it.
